How do you get a pet dog on Fallout 3?

Getting a Dog on Fallout 3

You can find him East of Agatha's House and South of Minefield in the Scrapyard. It's standing over a few raider's bodies. The dog actually attacks enemies with you and can also find items for you like food, meds, ammo and weapons. The dog's name is Dog Meat.




Another Edit:
The dog can also be found randomly in those areas as well as being around raider bodies. It usually approaches you when you least expect it. You can take it home (presuming you have not blown up megatron) and tell it to stay and it does not need feeding or anything =P
